This engineering company based in Shah Alam provides a range of services to their clients, including project management, consultation, maintenance.

Your new role

As the Finance Executive, you will be tasked with:

• Reconcile and analyse selected Balance Sheet items.
• Support and prepare tax analysis schedules and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of entity Financial Statements.
• Timely preparation of invoices and follow-up on trade receivables collections.
• Provide support to various departments with accounting issues and queries.
• Review and process staff claims.
• Participate in process improvement plans and implement finance and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with the operations team to build business relationships and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Communicate with Auditors, Tax Agents, Company Secretaries, and Bank Officers.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Minimum Degree in Accounting or Finance, professional preferred such as ACCA, CPA.ICAEW is highly preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in Accounting and Finance field
• Able to handle full sets of accounts without supervision
• Able to converse in Mandarin for external stakeholder purposes
• Independent and well-spoken
