An MNC company is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their dynamic team, based in Petaling Jaya.

Your new role

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, working closely with various departments to gather and consolidate financial data.

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions to ensure accurate and timely financial data.

• Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Support the Finance Manager in coordinating internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and documentation.

• Support in the preparation of management reports, providing insights into financial performance and key business metrics.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Preferably to have chartered qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA etc.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a similar role.

• Ability to work under pressure, independently and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and local tax regulations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
