In your new venture, you will be working with a global FMCG group with a long history of providing consumers with high-quality food products, one of the largest in their home country.

Your new role

You are responsible for planning and executing category strategies for primarily Direct materials (ingredients, packaging), with an oversight of Indirect (MRO, maintenance, consumables) spend for the Malaysia plant. You will be responsible for aligning with local leadership, driving vendor performance via various methods such as sourcing, negotiation, contracting and regular quality assessments. You will also ensure timely delivery of relevant materials for the production line, including inventory checks, collaborative forecasting and reporting accuracy.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree with Procurement experience in FMCG or Food Manufacturing industries

• Comprehensive understanding of Strategic Procurement processes in a matrix organisation from Sourcing and Strategic Supplier Management to Contracting and Performance Management

• Strong ability to communicate with, and convince stakeholders from various backgrounds

• Willing to work near Seremban
