As part of their expansion, they are hiring a new Manufacturing Director to join their executive team.
Your new role
As a Manufacturing Director, you will work closely with the CFO and Sales Director, leading the company and making major decisions for the organisation.
Other duties include:
- Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency
- Mentoring and inspiring employees to key into the vision of management
- Establishing policies that improve and promote company vision and culture
- Evaluating company performance and recommend strategies to improve results
- Collaborating with management and other stakeholders to raise capital and carry out other business-expanding strategies
- Oversee the daily operations of the company to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other executive team members to define and implement the company’s strategy.
- Optimise operational processes and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Manage operational budgets and resources to achieve company objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Assessing and enhancing the efficiency of internal and external operational processes
- Leading and motivating staff to achieve sales and organisational objectives
- Overseeing the recruitment process to attract the best candidates and reduce employee turnover
What you'll need to succeed
- 15+ years in senior management roles in material manufacturing, gloves, ceramics or chemical industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in an operational leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
