Injection Molding Engineer
World renowned MNC packaging company on the lookout for injection molding experts to take on a specialist role
Your new company
My client is a world renowned MNC packaging company with strong business and a heavy focus on sustainability and environmentalism. Based in Taiping, Perak, they are looking for strong candidates with extensive knowledge in injection molding processes and are very hands on with troubleshooting and machine maintenance.
Your new role
- Report to Production Manager.
- To plan preventive maintenance schedule to all injection machine and necessary equipment is being set up and maintained.
- To manage and maintain spare parts for maintenance use according to safety stock.
- To provide yearly maintenance budget and propose to HOD and ensure budget in control.
- To obtain good cycle time for each product from each machine following the parameters and maintaining the quality of product.
- To carry out troubleshooting when need arise and to attend machinery breakdowns and completion of root cause analysis.
- To provide training and transfer knowledge to technician.
- To update all necessary report and documentation accordingly.
- To plan technician working schedule.
- To ensure that GMP & Safety rule ®ulation been practice at workplace.
- To work with Kaizen method to continue improve product cycle time to reduce energy consumption.
- To supervise and review technician performance from time to time.
- Ensure all process parameters been maintain according to specification in SHOTSCOPE and escalate any issues to Machine maker to promptly settle the issue.
- All other duties as instructed by the management from time to time.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Possess 3-5 years of working experience in dealing with injection molding processes within the manufacturing field
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or any production related field.
- Extensive knowledge in injection molding processes
- Able to troubleshoot and perform machine maintenance for injection molding machines
- ADDED ADVANTAGE: Familiar with Husky Injection Molding Machines
