The company is currently seeking a Surface Treatment Production Manager for is plant based in Johor.

Your new role

• Assist the operation head in coordinating operational activities to ensure smooth factory operations.
  • On-time delivery
  • Production OEE (Capacity analysis, UP improvement, Yield or scrap improvement)
  • Operation cost management (Operation expenses, OSP)
  • Inventory management (Inventory and aging)
• Develop and establish effective systems to monitor operation goals and implement measuring, tracking, and alert systems to identify improvement opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Enhance, develop, and implement standard operating procedures to optimize workflows and systems to enhance factory operations.
• Identify cost gaps, and areas for process improvement, and implement systems to drive day-to-day operational activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and streamline processes to improve operational goals.
• Work with operation teams on daily factory activities and participate in creating and executing plans to achieve division goals and KPIs.
• Conduct cost studies and performance analyses to promote and implement continuous improvement programs for the entire organization.
• Ensure team responsiveness, making sure all inquiries from internal and external customers are replied to and updated on time.
• Prepare and present reports on operational performance and key metrics to senior management.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in chemical engineering and surface treatment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to monitor and improve KPIs.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing standard operating procedures.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate or equivalent is a plus.
• Chinese Speaker
