A well-established multinational manufacturer in Negeri Sembilan is looking for an Engineering and Automation Manager to drive transformation in their plant.

Your new role

• You will be responsible for improving the manufacturing processes, production layouts and material flow of the manufacturing plant through automation and/or engineering solutions.

• Responsible in design, implementation, and sustaining manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness

• Developing a roadmap for manufacturing automation, equipment, and tools for the site, which includes defining CAPEX budgets, and monitoring control budget.

• Oversee the design and implementation of new equipment and automation solutions.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for issues related to processes, quality, and safety. Establish engineering and process controls to ensure the sustainability of manufacturing processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent

• A solid foundation in lean manufacturing, exceptional problem-solving abilities, expertise in automation and digitalisation

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, metal fabrication and heavy industries are an added advantage.
