Your new role

• You are responsible for leading the R&D department of the organisation and work closely with regional teams within the company.
• You are responsible for overseeing New Product Development (NPD) processes from initial concept to market launch, including development, shelf life studies, and technical data sheets (TDS) and more.
• Manage and optimise all initiatives for both innovative and improvement projects.
• Handle new product development and recipe transfers from the headquarters.
• Actively design and implement R&D operational procedures for continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Food Technology or equivalent.

• More than 7 years of experience in R&D in food, beverage or oleochemical manufacturing.

• Knowledge of food technology and formulation, food analysis and fat chemistry will be an added advantage.
