A world market leader in the chemical manufacturing industry with an internationally renowned Shared Service Centre (SSC) based in Kuala Lumpur. This SSC provides various professional services to their business operations across the APAC region. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking a SAP PTP Consultant to join their dynamic team based in Kuala Lumpur.

Your new role

• In the Procurement Product Family in the Product Team Invoice Processing, you would consult and support our business partner for the implementation of satellite solutions and solution architecture in our complex landscape.

• The SAP Consultant understands functional requirements to provide our internal business partner with sustainable state-of-the-art solutions.

• Responsible to implement such solutions in cooperation with other teams in GDS and the business partners

• Responsible for the design and development of functional or technical applications or the enhancements to existing applications.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 6–8 years related working experience with complex SAP applications includes S4HANA; knowledge of purchasing process and financial invoice verification
• Strong knowledge and understanding of SAP Material Management / Procurement (compulsory) modules within the SAP application is essential.
• Strong understanding of the Supply Chain Management processes
• Technically able to understand ABAP coding (debug skills) with some working experience in SAP interfaces i.e. iDoc, RFC, API, …
• Experienced leading and motivating a team of people, building team spirit and coaching staff when appropriate. Clear understanding of the role of the project lead.
