Your new role
System Integration: Integrate automated systems with existing machinery, software, and IT infrastructure.
Process Optimization: Analyse current processes, identify opportunities for automation, and implement solutions to optimize performance, quality, and cost-efficiency.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot issues with automated systems and provide technical support to minimize downtime.
Programming & Software Development: Write and test code for automation systems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and other automation platforms.
Documentation & Reporting: Create detailed documentation of automation systems, including technical specifications, troubleshooting guides, and process flow diagrams.
Collaboration: Work with other internal stakeholder to ensure seamless automation system integration.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, automation technologies, and best practices to improve system performance and cost-effectiveness.
What you'll need to succeed
-Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
-2-3 years relevant experience in Mechatronics or PLCs programming and Mechanical/Electrical Engineering related disciplines.
-Knowledge in programming language, ideally Siemens PLC Step 7
-Familiar with inverter (Lenze, SEW, KEB, Schneider)
-Knowledgeable in schematic electrical diagram.
-Knowledge in Controls Engineering techniques and practices.
-Excellent understanding of Computer Applications and the Microsoft Office family.
