Your new role
As a Head of Merchandise and Retail, your responsibilities are as follows:
Conduct feasibility studies and develop plans for new theme park merchandising, from layout planning to business commencement, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety requirements.
Formulate and implement strategies to drive customer headcount, increase business volume, optimise profits, and maximise operational efficiency across all units.
Manage tenant mix to attract customers, oversee rental activities, and ensure tenant compliance while maximising returns for properties.
Analyse industry practices in international parks to develop strategies and business models that meet profit and customer satisfaction goals, including merchandise category planning and supplier evaluations.
Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and construction teams to ensure merchandise design approvals, shop renovations, and operational readiness align with world-class standards.
Create and execute staff training, team-building activities, and motivational programs while assessing performance, resolving customer concerns, and fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 10 years of experience within the Retail and Merchandising scope
Flexibility to travel and relocate when required
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Industry experience in Retail, FMCG and / or F&B is required.
Excellent communication skills
