Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional looking to take on a new challenge in a multinational environment? Hays is partnering with a leading organization to recruit a Senior Analyst, Accounts Receivable for a 1-year contract role.
Your New Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in managing the company’s credit and collections process. Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Conducting customer reviews and assessing financial risk to establish appropriate credit limits.
✔ Preparing recommendations for credit approvals for both new and existing accounts.
✔ Collaborating with sales, customer service, and clients to evaluate accounts and drive collections.
✔ Reconciling accounts with customers and accounts receivable teams.
✔ Analyzing credit memo and write-off activities, ensuring accurate reporting.
✔ Performing monthly collection forecasts and ensuring targets are met.
✔ Monitoring and communicating credit concerns to management.
✔ Ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies.
✔ Preparing AR journals and reconciling them with the general ledger (GL).
✔ Contributing to process improvements in controls, systems, and procedures.
✔ Supporting migration projects and participating in ad-hoc assignments.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
✔ 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in an MNC or Shared Services (SSC) environment with a focus on Credit & Collections.
✔ Commercial experience with strong skills in audit, compliance, and controls.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft applications; experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is a plus.
✔ Solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles, regulations, and SOX/internal controls.
✔ Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with the confidence to engage internal and external stakeholders.
✔ A Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (CPA, CA) or finalist status is preferred.
✔ Additional relevant qualifications or certifications will be an added advantage.
