International Bank is looking for a Platform Engineer (Infrastructure Delivery and DR Support).

Your new role

• Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Build and maintain virtualized environments using HCI, ensuring stability, security, and performance, and optimise Windows and Linux servers.
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Develop and manage HA and DR strategies, and conduct regular testing and recovery exercises.
• Solution Engineering & Optimisation: Assess and improve infrastructure for efficiency and scalability, and automate deployment and configuration.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert support for infrastructure issues on Windows and Linux, and collaborate to resolve performance problems.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure systems meet financial regulations, implement security controls, and perform risk assessments

What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS.
• Experience with virtualisation and Nutanix HCI.
• Expertise in high availability, disaster recovery, and backups.
• Familiarity with networking, storage, security, and scripting/automation.
