Your new role
You'll be crucial in identifying, assessing, and monitoring financial and insurance risks, conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses to support decision-making. Your responsibilities include preparing risk reports for senior management, collaborating on risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You'll oversee the company's Risk Appetite Statements, key risk indicators, and limits, coordinate ICAAP, ORSA, and SCR reviews, and perform risk assessments on various topics. Additionally, you'll support the development of risk models, manage data for risk modelling, and enhance risk insights. You'll also run risk assessments at company and business unit levels, develop internal control systems, and ensure risks are managed in line with guidelines and strategy. Lastly, you'll support the development of qualitative frameworks and monitor the company's risk profile. Get ready to make a significant impact on the organisation's risk management efforts!
What you'll need to succeed
Leveraging your background in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Insurance, or Risk Management.
- Your professional qualifications: Aii, FRM, FSA, CERA, CQF, CAF.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in actuarial, insurance, or financial risk management.
- Your familiarity with risk management practices and industry dynamics.
- Your understanding of local insurance markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Your proficiency in large datasets and statistical analysis.
- Your solid foundation in actuarial practice and risk modelling
