An MNC company is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their dynamic team, based in Petaling Jaya.
Your new role
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts, working closely with various departments to gather and consolidate financial data.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support the Finance Manager in coordinating internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and documentation.
Support in the preparation of management reports, providing insights into financial performance and key business metrics.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Preferably to have chartered qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA etc.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a similar role.
Ability to work under pressure, independently and meet tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and local tax regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
