My client is a global industry leader in solar energy with a regional office that is based in the heart of KL. They are looking to revolutionise the solar energy industry throughout the APAC region using technology to develop and sell superior products. They have a team of 30 that is split between 5 departments engaging the solar market. They are managing an existing client portfolio but focused on growth due to sustainability being paramount to our futures. They are an exciting organisation, using new initiatives along with a solid strategy to remain the best.

Your new role

The role involves developing and managing partner marketing activity plans while supporting precision marketing initiatives for partners. It includes expanding commercial market channels, maintaining channel relationships, ensuring channel satisfaction, assisting partners in acquiring commercial market customers, and undertaking tasks to meet commercial sales targets. A key responsibility is to understand and implement channel strategies and regional business strategies by gaining insights into business opportunities and the channel ecosystem, enabling the formulation and effective execution of regional market channel development strategies. The role requires integration into the business and team to help achieve market goals as well as channel sales and performance objectives. Additionally, it focusses on building and maintaining a robust channel ecosystem within the assigned industry or regional market. By integrating channel marketing resources, the role aims to help channel partners effectively achieve the organisation's goals and foster mutually beneficial outcomes. Furthermore, it involves coordinating sell-out processes, managing inventory and purchase operations, and forecasting partner demand to ensure smooth operations.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate should have prior working experience as an ecological manager and market development experience in the renewable energy or solar industry. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required. Recognising the value of cooperation with partners, relevant work experience in channel and partner development, management, and operation is preferred. The candidate must be adaptable to multicultural environments, with the ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical products and principles. Basic knowledge of channel marketing and sales is essential, along with the ability to view cooperation from a third-party perspective and effectively promote its implementation. Strong communication and coordination skills are crucial, including a foundation in market expansion and customer interface communication. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to connect with middle- and high-level partners, foster strong cooperative relationships, and possess excellent understanding, expression, communication, coordination, and resource integration capabilities. Additionally, they must have expertise in partnership understanding and construction, including the ability to grasp the connotations of solar business integration, platforms, and ecosystems, and to assist partners in building the organisation's products and solutions from the perspective of partner operations—covering pre-sales, sales, after-sales, branding, and more.


What you'll get in return

- A monthly salary of up to RM 28,000 (dependent on experience)
- Allowance of up to RM 400 a month
