Your new company

You will be working with one of the most renowned retail companies that has a business centre set up in Malaysia. As they are expanding their team in Malaysia, they are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Lead to join them in their KL office.

Your new role

• You will be the key PIC in regard to Cybersecurity for Malaysia and you will manage the relationships between the business and the IT team.

• You will implement/ update the Cybersecurity policies in Malaysia.

• You will run cybersecurity risk assessments for projects and provide recommendations to the team (if any).

• You will run training and campaigns to promote Cybersecurity awareness to the business.

• You will be involved in incident response in Malaysia and also remediate any vulnerabilities arising from pentest findings.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven track record of 7 years in the Cybersecurity field

• Experienced in the NIST framework

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Have good stakeholder management skills (as you will be speaking to the management team in/out of Malaysia)

• Preferably have obtained certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA.
