Our client is an manufacturing company focusing on the design, manufacturing, and services for information and communication products. They are known for their state-of-the-art smart manufacturing facilities, which include automated production lines. They are currently looking for a Final Assembly Manager for their site based in Selangor.

Your new role

• Discuss and arrange the headcount needed according to the Final Assembly (FA) Production Plan.
• Monitor shipment, productivity line and efficiency, 6S, and quality in daily operations.
• Manage and supervise the performances of the production line and staff to meet the department's KPI goals.
• Deliver top management expectations and messages to subordinates.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and support teams to troubleshoot and tackle operational issues.
• Provide training to subordinates.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
• Take responsibility and accountability for preventing work-related injury, ill health, and environmental pollution while providing safe and healthy workplaces and activities.
• Ensure the availability of resources for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the ESH management system.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin speaking.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of related working experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to manage a large team in the department (> 300 people).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
