My client is a renowned MNC that manufactures medical devices, instrument systems, and reagents, based in Kedah. They are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to drive the yield improvement, process and usage optimisation.

Your new role

• Develop and improve compounding formulations and processes

• Ensure product quality meets established standards and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and process issues to minimise production downtime.

• Provide training for new employees when required.

• Work with engineering team members on projects related to manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and quality control.

• Develop and implement solutions to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or relevant field preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of lean six sigma manufacturing principles and techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Familiarity with ISO 13485 will be an added advantage.

• Experience in compounding engineering is a plus point.
