Production Engineer

Contracting manufacturing MNC in Johor now hiring a production engineer
Your new company
My client is contract manufacturing MNC with strong business all across many different industries. Now a top player in Senai, Johor, they are looking for a Production Engineer with:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in process engineering with a focus on whole product (especially home appliances) manufacturing processes, such as Ultrasonic welding, gluing bonding, testing etc. to ensure product functionality.
  • Understanding NPI process, strong experience in developing processes for new product integration from trail run to mass production.
  • Extensive experience in assembly line set up, layout and fixture development
  • Showcases good troubleshooting ability
  • Extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing
Your new role
  • Designing and implementing new process lines, assembly lines, and fixtures to support the introduction of new products, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, timeline, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies for new processes and product introductions.
  • Develop manufacturing processes and assembly procedures to ensure all functions of new products are realized.
  • Complete initial process and layout designs.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in production and establish process standards and documentation.
  • Design and verify equipment and fixtures.
  • Continuously improve manufacturing efficiency and performance to achieve cost reduction.
