Your new company:-

My client is a well-established MNC with strong business in the manufacturing industry. Their main line of business revolves engineering and manufacturing flooring, tiles, panels, and roof systems for intricate and complex interior design innovations across the globe. Currently, they are on the lookout for a Production Manager who is able to showcase excellent leadership skills and strong people management capabilities to lead and spearhead their production line to new heights.

Your new role:-

You’ll be responsible for:

o Maintain and stimulate safety and housekeeping awareness of staff through training, motivation, discipline and celebration
o Monitor the daily/weekly aspects of the production lines performance through KPI setting and follow up on Safety, Quality, Productivity, Service and Cost
o Continuous follow-up and communication with other production - and supporting departments: quality, engineering, maintenance, etc.;
o Create the right structure and systems to deliver excellence. Finds ways to work more efficient and make the best of the teams available time.
o Monitor and lead changes, sponsor action plans, initiate CAPEX;
o Ensure shop floor resource planning is adequate in correlation with production workload versus planning
o Oversees the analysis and review of budgets, schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining the goal.
o Ensure the department’s procedure and working instruction are up to date and compliance with ISO 9001 requirement
o Consistently assess and recommend the best method for process improvement.

What you’ll need to succeed:-

o Bachelors Degree in Wood Technology or any related field
o At least 5 years of working experience in a managerial role
o Excellent leadership and communication skills
o Strong knowledge in departmental budgeting
o Preferred to have knowledge in PowerBi and any Microsoft Office application
o Knowledgeable in Malaysian employment related act
