Quality Manager

Contract manufacturing MNC looking for a Quality Manager
Your new company
My client is contract manufacturing MNC with strong business all across many different industries. Now a top player in Senai, Johor, they are looking for a Quality Manager with:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields)
  • Minimum 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Extensive knowledge in VDA or IATF 16949 (formerly ISO/TS 16949) standards
  • Proven track record in manufacturing, plastic injection molding, or industrial automation.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple NPI projects
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Mandarin speaking skills to liaise with overseas clients and customers

Your new role
  • Quality Assurance & Control: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and implement corrective actions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, certifications, and customer requirements.
  • Supplier & Customer Relations: Collaborate with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and maintain high standards.
  • Training & Development: Lead training programs for employees to enhance quality awareness and best practices.
  • Audits & Inspections: Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality performance, defects, and corrective actions.
