Your new company

Your new organisation is a leading international bank. They are looking to onboard a new Head, CAL, DevOps Engineering to strategise, design and lead the implementation of end-to-end DevOps Engineering for their current project with a multi-region team.

Your new role

• Your new role will see you strategising and setting the vision and goals for multiple regions that will be working on this project (China, Singapore, India, Malaysia).

• You will be responsible to come up with and drive the DevOps technology strategy, tech stack selection and implementation to achieve the outcomes set.

• You will need to build capabilities and mentor a team to ensure that they can design, implement and manage all the DevOps tools that have been built (IaC, CI/CD, Containerisation etc.)

• You will also be responsible to optimize cloud resources to ensure cost efficiency, scalability and reliability.

What you'll need to succeed

• Multiple years in Technology Leadership roles.

• Have experience with DevOps and the related tools (IaC, Terraform, CI/CD, Containerisation etc.), and to highlight, Azure DevOps (ADO).

• Must have experience in capability building, technical expertise and mentorship.

• The ability to articulate the strategy and vision to respective team leads to ensure delivery.

• Must have technical competencies in Programming & Scripting (Python/Shell/Ruby), Operating Systems, Network Fundamentals, Security Fundamentals, Database Development.

• Deep knowledge of Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in managing cloud infrastructure.
