Your new role
In your new role as a Senior Logistics Manager, you’ll focus on optimising logistics operations across a diverse range of chemical products. You'll ensure timely and accurate delivery, manage transportation and coordinate with third-party drivers and logistics providers. Your responsibilities will include cross-border trucking and the meticulous management of chemical residues. By developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance, you'll drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Leading a dedicated team, you’ll foster collaboration and drive continuous process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Extensive experience in managing logistics operations across the chemical manufacturing and distribution industry and similar sectors.
  • Expertise in cross-border trucking and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Proficient in logistics planning and delivery planning, ensuring efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Strong skills in driver management, geofencing, GPS tracking, and implementation of new process improvements to improve logistics operations and on-time deliveries.
  • Experienced in designing SOPs/KPIs and have proactive operational support and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people management skills – build and polish team members to maximise the logistics function’s potential.
  • Adept at stakeholder management and customer management.
