This is an MNC company that has over 900+ employees in the world and has 32 offices across the world, including 5 offices in Malaysia. They are one of the dominant players within their industry. They are currently hiring a Senior Sire Reliability Engineer candidate to join their team in KL.

Your new role

• You will utilise your knowledge of DevOps and SRE to perform your daily roles such as providing availability, reliability, resilience, performance, security, and monitoring of applications on Azure Cloud and other platforms to meet business operational SLAs.
• You will improve platform infrastructure through automation and standardisation.
• You will perform troubleshooting on the Kubernetes platform.
• You will maintain automation infrastructure to identify risks in performance, reliability, capability, and scalability.
• Overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of DevSecOps automation workflows, working closely with developers.
• Perform root cause analysis on incidents and provide code fixes for permanent solutions.
• Collaborate with the service delivery team to manage incidents, control operational costs, improve services, and monitor application health.
• Bridge development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to application reliability and fostering this culture in agile development teams.
• Enhance the resilience of core applications and infrastructure through continuous improvement of backlog.

  What you'll need to succeed
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an SRE related role
• Hands-on experience in Kubernetes and troubleshooting
• You are able to use configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform or Kubernetes.
• You are able to utilise monitoring tools such as Prometheus/ Grafana.
• You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, and DevOps.
