This organisation is a fast-growing global financial institution which strives to deliver the best experience for its customers. They offer multiple products and are currently hiring for a KYC Team Lead role to join their fast-growing team.

Your New Role
What you will do in the Transaction Monitoring Analyst role:

  • Review and monitor clients’ transactions
  • Identify potentially suspicious transactions/ activities and reporting to Compliance Manager
  • Prepare the report for MLRO for filing of STR/SAR whenever necessary
  • Analysing the process, systems and advise stakeholders on the implementation of improved solutions the support business and mitigates compliance risk
  • Identify potential risks associated with the business relationship and escalate any red flags or concerns
  • Work closely with L2 and Compliance to ensure a seamless onboarding and periodic refresh process for clients
  • Effective communication with internal stakeholders including BD, Legal, Operations etc
  • Other ad hoc tasks assigned by Compliance Manager
  • Interact with clients through Whatsapp/ Telegram/ e-mail communications
  • Ensure completeness of static data and maintain an accurate record of all existing and potential clients
  • Respond to Request for Information and client inquiries in a timely and professional manner

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Diploma in Finance, Business Administration or an industry-related field
  • Possesses at least 1-2 years of experience in TM (Fiat and/or on-chain monitoring) within the financial sector, crypto and fintech preferred
  • Excellent organizational, time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin will be preferred though not a must
  • Familiarity with TM systems - Sumsub, Chainalysis, ComplyAdvantage and/or Elliptic will be highly preferred
  • Understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain and understanding of regulations across jurisdictions will be a bonus
